From signals to decisions

A competitor's move is evidence—not an instruction.

The hard part is not finding more signals. It is deciding which one is strong enough to change budget, roadmap, pricing or direction. SERPIFAI checks who actually matters, separates what we know from what we assume, challenges the obvious answer and shows what should change now—or not yet.

Not every signal earns action. The output is a bounded recommendation the team can inspect, challenge and hand off.

Signals stay inspectable. Evidence, inference, contradiction and unresolved questions remain separate until the decision can support action.

Inside the managed analysis

A structured evidence system supports every SERPIFAI brief

SERPIFAI’s internal evidence and decision-intelligence system qualifies relevant competitors, retains the evidence behind material findings, exposes uncertainty and compares opportunity territories around one commercial question.

The research retains source quality, competing explanations and uncertainty so the final recommendation can be inspected.

The illustrative views below use fictional Northbridge data. The public worked decision brief shows the reviewed customer-facing result.

Platform or consultant?

Use software to monitor. Use SERPIFAI to resolve the decision.

Software gives your team ongoing signals. AI tools, agencies and internal analysts can help examine them. SERPIFAI is for the moment a specific decision still needs a defensible answer—what matters, what to do and what not to do.

Use a platform when
  • You need continuous monitoring and alerts
  • Sales teams need battlecards and update feeds
  • The team already knows which competitors matter
  • Internal analysts can interpret the data
Use SERPIFAI when
  • The decision itself needs to be defined and bounded
  • The competitors must matter to your buyers and business
  • Evidence, inference and unresolved gaps must stay visible
  • Leadership needs a clear recommendation and its limits

Not sure this needs SERPIFAI? The free Scope Review gives a fit outcome: FIT, ONE CHANGE or NOT FIT. It is not a paid Decision Brief, and there is no obligation to buy.

Start free Scope Review

The work is designed for

Teams where the wrong competitive decision is expensive.

  • B2B, SaaS, agency and high-value service businesses
  • Teams preparing a significant market, positioning, search, content or authority investment
  • Founders and growth leaders who need one defensible priority sequence

The engagement is not designed for

Monitoring software, bulk reporting, unlimited scope or guaranteed outcomes.

  • Always-on competitor alerts or battlecard software
  • Bulk keyword exports and automated audit reports
  • Unlimited markets and competitors within one fee
  • Guaranteed rankings, traffic, revenue or implementation

Choose the right level of support

Three ways to answer the question in front of you. We match the scope to what you need to decide and the evidence needed to answer it. See current prices and commercial terms on the Services page.

Decision Check

Is this direction sufficiently justified to go further?

1 decision · 1 market · up to 3 core competitors

Use it when the question is narrow and you need a bounded Proceed / Investigate / Defer / Stop judgment before deeper work.

Check tests one narrow direction using Proceed / Investigate / Defer / Stop. The full Brief delivers the wider investment recommendation shown above. The free Scope Review helps determine which, if either, fits.
02 · DecideFounder-led core engagement

Decision Brief

What should we do—and why?

1 evidence-backed recommendation · 1 primary market · up to 5 core competitors

A recommendation with its evidence and limits, ranked actions, conditions for revisiting the decision, and a founder walkthrough.

Inspect the Decision Brief output →
03 · ActivateDecision-to-action plan

Decision Activation

How do we turn the decision into a practical plan?

1 decision · up to 5 core competitors plus justified alternatives where needed

A 30/60/90-day action plan covering dependencies, budget exposure, priorities and measures of progress.

An action plan—not hands-on delivery. Implementation, project management and open-ended founder access are not included.

Scope Review determines whether this depth is sufficient.

No automatic upsell. SERPIFAI recommends the smallest complete engagement capable of resolving the decision. Current public pricing and temporary commercial terms are maintained on Services; exact scope and commercial terms are confirmed before paid work begins.

AI accelerates research. Evidence sets the limit.

SERPIFAI founder Pero Baldjiev reviews and approves each customer-facing Decision Brief before release. His experience spans competitive analysis, technical SEO, search strategy, information architecture and AEO/GEO.

Evidence first. No false certainty. Sources are challenged. Gaps stay visible. Every Decision Brief receives founder approval before release, even when the right recommendation is to wait.

“I review every brief myself. If the evidence is thin, I say so.”

What is competitive intelligence consulting?

Competitive intelligence consulting is structured decision support that identifies which competitors matter, evaluates the evidence and turns it into an actionable recommendation. SERPIFAI keeps sources, inference, contradiction, uncertainty and decision limits visible so the recommendation can be inspected.

What is the difference between competitor analysis and competitive intelligence?

Competitor analysis focuses on selected rivals. Competitive intelligence is the broader decision process: define the question, qualify the relevant competitors, evaluate evidence, interpret what matters and decide how to respond. SERPIFAI uses specialist competitor analysis inside that governed decision process.

Which SERPIFAI engagement should I choose?

You do not need to choose the engagement before you start. The free Scope Review tests fit and identifies the smallest sufficient path for the decision—Decision Check, Decision Brief or Decision Activation—if paid work is justified at all.

How much does SERPIFAI cost?

Current public pricing, temporary commercial terms and exact service definitions are maintained on the Services page. The Decision Scope Review is free, requires no payment or package commitment, and identifies the smallest sufficient paid engagement—if paid work is justified at all.

What exactly will I receive?

The output depends on engagement depth. Check provides a bounded validation brief and disposition. Brief provides the governed recommendation, competitor qualification, evidence and limitations, ranked action workbook, do-not-fund/defer register, reopening conditions and founder walkthrough. Activation adds dependencies, capital-at-risk, sequencing, measurement and 30/60/90 decision implementation architecture.

Should I use a competitive intelligence platform or SERPIFAI?

Use a platform when the main need is continuous monitoring, alerts, battlecards or data access. Use SERPIFAI when the harder problem is defining the decision, qualifying the competitive set, controlling the evidence and deciding what the evidence can justify changing.

What happens when the evidence is weak?

Weak, conflicting or missing evidence remains visible as inferred, contradictory or unresolved rather than being converted into false certainty. The recommendation is bounded by what the evidence can actually support.

Does Decision Activation include implementation?

No. Decision Activation includes 30/60/90 decision implementation architecture, dependencies, sequencing, measurement and action gates. It does not include embedded implementation delivery, project management, ongoing meetings or unlimited founder availability.

Can I inspect the work before engaging?

Yes. The Sample Decision Brief shows the deliverable structure and evidence logic, the Competitor Fit Challenge lets you test up to three proposed competitors, the Trust Centre explains governance, and the Research & Insights library documents the underlying methods.

11 · After the decision

The direction is clear. Now keep the build from drifting.

SERPIFAI can implement selected Search, technical SEO and website changes after the direction is settled. If the proposed project is larger than the evidence justifies, we make it smaller before you commit.
