Site delivery data
Technical request/response information may be involved in delivering a website. Exact hosting/log behavior should be described only from verified configuration.
Trust and governance · Data handling
SERPIFAI’s public data-handling standard is to request only what a task needs, avoid unnecessary sensitive input and keep surface-specific behavior subordinate to the Privacy Notice and any applicable product notice. This summary does not claim universal local-only processing or invent retention periods.
Data minimization starts before collection. A useful field should have a clear reason to exist.
What user or operational purpose requires this information?
Could the task be completed with less information or a less sensitive input?
Is the data handled in the browser, submitted to a service, stored in a mailbox or processed elsewhere?
What governs how long it remains? Do not invent a public retention promise without verified implementation evidence.
What can the user avoid, decline, remove or accomplish another way?
MINIMUM NECESSARY INPUTLess collection → clearer purpose → smaller exposure
A data claim is easier to review when the evidence travels with the claim. For each materially different surface, record the fields below rather than filling gaps with a site-wide promise.
| Field | What to record |
|---|---|
| Surface | The exact page, form, tool, email path or downloadable resource being described. |
| Data class | The minimum category of information involved, without adding unnecessary personal or confidential detail. |
| Purpose | The user or operational reason the information is needed. |
| Processing path | Whether the relevant step occurs in the browser, through a service, in a mailbox or elsewhere—only when verified. |
| Retention authority | The verified policy, system control or notice that governs retention; otherwise mark the duration unresolved. |
| User choice | What the user can avoid, decline, remove or accomplish another way. |
| Evidence status | Verified for this surface, policy-bound or unresolved. Do not convert an unresolved field into a generic promise. |
The exact behavior depends on the surface. This summary describes categories rather than pretending every route behaves identically.
Technical request/response information may be involved in delivering a website. Exact hosting/log behavior should be described only from verified configuration.
A form, email or request can contain information the user chooses to send. Ask only for what the task requires.
Where optional preference or consent mechanisms are present, the public privacy/cookie terms govern the exact behavior.
Some tools may process inputs client-side; others may have server or workflow dependencies. A 'local only' claim must be tied to the exact tool, not generalized site-wide.
Contact information used for a requested response should be governed by the purpose of that interaction and the controlling privacy terms.
Decision-support tools often need business context, not personal or confidential detail.
Use buyer category, market, evidence state, decision horizon or anonymized business context when those are sufficient for the task.
Do not paste credentials, secrets, personal identifiers, confidential client records or other sensitive content into a public tool or initial support email when the task does not require it.
A client-side tool can be described as such when verified. That does not prove every SERPIFAI route or service processes data only in the browser.
A precise retention period should be published only when the underlying system, policy and deletion behavior support it.
This page is a plain-language boundary map. The controlling privacy policy and product-specific notices take precedence where applicable.
Analytics, email or other optional service behavior should not be inferred merely because the site could technically support it.
| Weak default | Better control |
|---|---|
| Ask for a company name because it is convenient. | Ask whether the analysis can work with a generic company label or internal ID. |
| Collect detailed customer examples to improve context. | Ask for the buyer/problem pattern unless individual details are truly necessary. |
| State “we keep data for 30 days” without implementation evidence. | State the verified retention control—or leave the precise duration to the controlling privacy terms until verified. |
| Use one global claim for every tool. | Document the exact data path for each materially different product surface. |
It covers the lifecycle around collection, use, transmission, storage or retention, sharing or disclosure and disposal—not only the moment a form is submitted.
No. This is a plain-language operational boundary map. The Privacy Notice and any applicable product-specific notice control the public privacy terms for the exact interaction.
This summary does not make that universal claim. Product-specific behavior should be verified and described at the exact tool boundary.
Avoid unnecessary sensitive or confidential detail. Use the minimum business context needed for the decision task.
Because a precise period is meaningful only when the underlying systems and policy support it. Publishing an invented number would reduce, not increase, trust.
Use the SERPIFAI Privacy page and any product-specific notice that applies to the exact interaction.
The product should make that separation obvious before users decide what evidence to contribute.
Public pages can help identify offer, buyer, market, comparison and context signals. The presence of public information does not remove the need to respect access controls, security boundaries or source limitations.
CRM, sales-call, customer and win/loss material may be materially stronger for buyer-choice questions but can also be more sensitive. Do not place it into a public diagnostic unless the specific workflow explicitly supports and governs that input.
NIST's Privacy Framework is used as a voluntary privacy-risk management reference point, and the NIST data-processing glossary is used for lifecycle vocabulary. Neither source describes or certifies SERPIFAI's exact technical data flows. As reviewed on 17 August 2026, NIST still presents Privacy Framework 1.1 as an Initial Public Draft, so this page does not claim alignment to a finalized PF 1.1.
This summary is deliberately practical and bounded.
Use the privacy page for the controlling public terms and product-specific notices for exact behavior.
